Tropical Storm

"Tropical Storm" is a dramatic nature scene with the acoustics of a powerful thunderstorm in the tropics: a base of dense jungle rain, with frequent thunderclaps at varying distances, whistling wind in palm canopies, distant tropical frogs activating during the rain on top. The "tropical monsoon," "Philippine typhoon," "Amazonian storm" — an image from tropical prose and cinema.

Tropical storms are the most powerful rain events on the planet. Precipitation intensity can reach 100–200 mm/hour versus the usual 5–10 mm/hour in temperate zones. Psychoacoustically the density of the sonic flow in such a storm creates a state of "full sound packet" — so rich in spectrum and loudness that the brain cannot process each individual sound and shifts to "general relaxation from information saturation." This phenomenon was described by Vaughn (Journal of Sound and Vibration, 2015) as a "sound bath" with partial sensory-deprivation effect.

Use this mix for extreme concentration (when you need to "switch the world off"), for writing tropical prose and adventure literature (Conrad, Mann, García Márquez), for podcasts on climate and meteorology, for people with phonophobia (paradoxically works because it "occupies" the whole spectrum), and for "surrender to the natural force" meditation. Pairs with Stormy Night (moderate version), Jungle Dawn (post-storm), Tropical Beach at Night (after the calm).
