Bubble Bath
"Bubble Bath" is an intimate relaxation mix for home spa sessions: a base of shower at moderate intensity and streaming water (filling the tub), with a soft gong note and 432 Hz on top. The "acoustic bath" — what physically happens in the bathroom, translated into a pure sound scenario for times when a real bath isn't possible.
Physiologically a warm bath is one of the most effective non-pharmacological relaxation tools. Haghayegh and colleagues (Sleep Medicine Reviews, 2019) in a meta-analysis of 17 studies showed that a warm bath (40–42°C) 1–2 hours before bed shortens falling-asleep time by about 10 minutes and improves sleep quality. The acoustic component — water sounds — separately works as a biophilic stimulus (Wilson, Biophilia, 1984): the brain reads "water environment sound" as a safety signal and relaxes.
Use this mix in a real bath (turn it on before closing your eyes in the water for a double effect), as an "acoustic bath" without water (under a blanket, eyes closed, 20–30 minutes), for a meditative break after the workday, to prepare for sleep (one hour out), for yoga and slow breathing, and for those whose lifestyle doesn't allow baths (students, travellers, people in shared rentals).
