Healing Frequencies is a meditative mix based on the Solfeggio frequencies of the esoteric tradition: a base of 528 Hz and 432 Hz simultaneously (creating an interference pattern), with singing bowl, melodic gong and a barely audible Om on top. A sonic pharmacy in the esoteric sense, an attempt to use specific frequencies for targeted effect.
It's important to understand the scientific position on this mix. The idea of healing frequencies in the strict esoteric sense (that 528 Hz repairs DNA and 396 Hz removes guilt) has no scientific confirmation. The fact that listening to sustained harmonic tones produces a measurable anti-stress effect is clinically supported, however: Akimoto and colleagues (Health, 2018) showed that five minutes of 528 Hz listening lowers salivary cortisol, and Goldsby and colleagues (2017) confirmed the effect for a broad range of sound-healing frequencies. So the mix works, but through the general mechanism of sound therapy, not mystical DNA tuning.
Use this mix for people for whom sound numerology plays an important role in their spiritual or wellness practice, for meditation in an esoteric context, for sound-therapy sessions, for yoga, for podcasts on alternative medicine and sound, or for people who find ordinary mixes boring and want a more structured sonic experience.
